About Me

Hi, welcome to my website! My original goal for this website was to become familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript by creating a personal website. Now, it is a place to store my hobbies and adventures.

A little bit about me: since I was born, my adventurous side has been nurtured by my family and friends. My earliest memories are of wakeboarding on Northern California lakes and hanging out in the hangars at the airport. These experiences sparked my curiosity and led me to ask questions about nearly everything—from Swiss Army knives to the mechanics of flight. I developed a love for problem-solving and enjoyed surprising people with my discoveries. Chess, Rubik's cubes, strategy games—anything I could get my hands on—I wanted to solve.

By chance, I was always surrounded by driven and passionate friends who pushed me to excel. Sports taught me the importance of dedication and perseverance. I gave my all to water polo, making the varsity team as a freshman and becoming a league leader, team captain, and MVP by my junior and senior years. Academically, my friends encouraged me to research and defend my views, embrace failure as a learning opportunity, and stay organized. Their support made me feel capable of conquering any challenge.

At university, my curiosity expanded with my newfound freedom. I explored diverse subjects, realizing that identifying what I didn't want to pursue was just as crucial as finding my passions. My academic interests began to intersect with my personal hobbies, enriching my learning experience.

I live by a mantra from Logic: “Actually living your life is exponentially different from just being alive.” To me, being alive means actively seeking adventure, freedom, and friendship. I've learned that people have an incredible capacity to make things happen, and I believe I can shape my world through effort and determination. Moving forward, I aim to apply these lessons to my life and continue growing.
